Who we are

FIRST Team 190 is an original and sustaining team. We began our journey in 1992 and have competed every season. At the core, our team has found success through the cultivation of diverse perspectives and ideas.

Our high school, the Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science, is a two-year public high school for Juniors and Seniors and our main mentor base are college students at WPI. This means we are a team in constant transition, but we have worked hard to use it to our advantage, incorporating new ideas and unique experiences into each season.

Our team is an open team, meaning any high school student who does not have access to FIRST Robotics can join. Each year, we have participants from several area schools and home schools.
